Points of interest on the Cabinet Ranger District:

Bull River Ranger Station, This structure was built in 1907 by Granville "Granny" Gordon who was appointed the first ranger on the old Cabinet National Forest by President Theodore Roosevelt.

Vermilion Falls, Created from erosion by the Vermilion River, the cascading waterfall should not be missed.

High Peaks Vista, This viewpint located along the Bull River Highway looks into the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness.

Noxon Rapids Dam, Built by Washington Water Power in 1959, this dam is located on the Clark Fork River about two miles from Noxon. Noxon Rapids is 700 feet wide at the base with a 150 mile shoreline and 8,650 Acres of surface area.

Cabinet Gorge Dam, Also owned By Washington Water Power and located on the Clark Fork River, this dam is just one-half mile west of the Montana state line. Built in 1952, Cabinet Gorge holds back about 22 miles of water and the view is accessible from Highway 200.
